Beginner Singles Golf Every Monday

Our weekly "Learn to Golf & Social" for adult singles 50+ at Kennedy Golf Course will start up again on May 5, 2014 at 6:00.

Ladies can learn a new recreational activity. The men are happy to help them. John Edwards and Eric Miller are the on-course helpers. This is not for serious competition golfers. It is for adult singles meeting through golf.

These "really-beginner" golf mixers start on the south patio of the Kennedy course restaurant. Playing on the short par-3 course the group plays a "scramble" event where everyone hits their first drive. Then all four players walk to the ball that landed in the best location and hit their next shots from there.

Experienced golfers are teamed with beginners to give tips on techniques and help them learn on-course skills. Some women have already taken lessons but never felt comfortable playing on a full-length course. Here you can. It is very relaxed.

Bonus Fact--Six members of our golf group have met each other there and later got married....if that interests you. $15 per person includes green fee, tee time, instruction and organization. Loaner sets of 4-5 clubs are available free

Monday Meetup, Mingle & Meal

At the Fresh Fish Company Bar

Every Monday night starting at 6 p.m. our Boomer Social Network hosts a Happy Hour and Meet-up Meal at The Fresh Fish Company Oyster Bar.

This mini-meal includes half-price drinks and reduced price appetizers served in a private room off the bar rather than in the main restaurant.

Although the restaurant offers a regular happy hour for the public from 4:30 to 6 and then from 8:30 to 10:30 weeknights, our Boomer Social Network gets the special pricing non-stop from 4:30 to 10:30 on Mondays only.

We gather in the newly remodeled semi-private room with aquariums and big screen televisions. Two large circular tables allow the group to talk easily with many attendees. The happy hour prices for our group are:
